Every member of the Chaplaincy will commit to support and protect children, young people and vulnerable adults.

The Chaplaincy recognise that our work with children, young people and vulnerable adults is the responsibility of each and every member of the chaplaincy.
-
We undertake to select all our Worship Centre Safeguarding Officers in line with the Diocesan policy, to support them and to provide and fund training for them.
-
The Chaplaincy will care pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse and other affected persons.
-
The Chaplaincy will care pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns or allegations of abuse and other affected persons.
-
The Diocese will lead the chaplaincies actions in responding to those that may pose a present risk to others.

The Chaplaincy undertake to receive any complaints seriously and respond to them promptly.
